SECURITY ENGINEER

1. Perform vulnerability scanning and application penetration testing (OWASP).

2. Provide security information and reports (including vulnerability and exploitation news, security patches, and fixes) and assist the operational team in implementing the fixes/patches in place.

4. Train and support staff on IT security matters.

5. Design and implement security systems to defend network systems from security threats (viruses, Trojans, malware, spyware, malicious code, attackers/hackers, etc.).

6. Consult and collaborate with the Architecture team on the security design of a new project.

7. Ensured that IT security met company policy and ISMS/ISO 27001 standard.

8. Respond to client, global group, internal/external auditor security questionnaires, and join audit sections.

1. Experience/Skills Required:

- Bachelors in Information Security / STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) degree

- At least 1+ years of experience in IT/Information Security

- Experience in leading IT security, attestation and assurance audits globally

- Professional security related qualification (e.g. CEH, CHFI,CISSP, OSCP,…) will be favorable although not mandatory

2. Education / Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information system.

- Core Competencies.

- Knowledge of attestation standards (SOC 1. SOC 2, IT SOX etc.)

- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to escalate timely to management.

4. High degree of attention to detail and discipline in tracking and managing the closure of identified vulnerabilities and issues arising from audit.

5. Effective influencing and negotiating skills and demonstrated sensitivity to working and interacting with senior stakeholders.

6. Ability to work independently.
